Veronica Mars Review

As a fan of the TV series that aired in 2004 and was later cancelled in 2007 , I was thrilled when I found out that one of my favorite show was coming back to life. When I heard about the Kickstarter project I knew that I had to become a backer of this project. And I’m so glad I did because the movie was everything that I could have hoped for.movies_veronica-mars3

The movie picks up nine years later after the season 3 finale. Veronica is has graduated from law school in New York and living with her boyfriend Piz. She gets a call from her ex-boyfriend Logan who is being a accused of murder and needs Veronica’s help. While Veronica is in Neptune working on the case she is reunited with her best friends Wallace and Mac, who urge Veronica to attend their high school reunion.

For the LoVe (aka Logan and Veronica) fans out there this movie did not disappoint. There is still a lot of chemistry between the two despite the the nine years of silence. It’s nice to see that their epic love does span years and

One of the best dynamics of the show was the father/daughter relationship between Keith and Veronica. It was one of my favorite things on the television show and it was nice to see it played out on the big screen. Keith is so proud of the woman Veronica has become, and he is glad that she got out of Neptune.

Throughout the movie Veronica you see the struggle she has between her life in New York and her old life in Neptune. Veronica begins to realize that life she was trying to leave behind in Neptune was life she was made for. Being a P.I. will always be in her blood no matter how hard she tries to deny the pull.

Overall I thought this movie well worth the wait. And I truly believe that I got what I paid for. I am so happy that I backed this project and got to be a part of the history that was made.
